Terms & Conditions
Last updated 11 October 2026
These terms form an agreement between you and Terroir. By creating an account, starting a membership or using any part of this site, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
1. Who we are
Terroir publishes a curated library of healthy world recipes, fruit drinks, children’s plates, breads and snacks, together with meal planning, a recipe builder and a members’ community. You can reach us at terroirreceipie@gmail.com.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and you are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything done through your account. Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date so we can reach you about your membership.
One account is for one person. Sharing login details, or reselling access to the library, is not permitted and may result in the account being closed.
3. Membership and payment
Membership is offered monthly or annually at the prices shown on the membership page, in pounds sterling and inclusive of any applicable tax. Payment is taken securely by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
Your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you in advance of any price change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
You may cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future payments; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. What you may do with the recipes
Eligible original recipe writing, photographs and site design are protected by copyright. As a member you may view recipes within Terroir and cook and plan meals for yourself and your household. Membership does not grant permission to download, print, capture, republish, resell, scrape or redistribute the library, in whole or in part, or use it to train machine-learning systems, except where permitted by law or with our written permission.

To request permission or report unauthorised reuse, contact terroirreceipie@gmail.com.
5. Content you post
When you post a recipe, photograph, video or comment in the community you keep ownership of it, and you grant us a licence to host and display it inside the service. You confirm that it is yours to share and that it is lawful, safe and respectful.
We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that puts other members at risk, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly break these rules.
6. Recipes, photographs and films
Our recipes are written and cooked by real people — many prepared in our own kitchens, others passed down from the families and communities the dishes come from. Our photographs and films are made to show each dish and the stages of cooking it.
As with any recipe, quantities, cooking times and doneness vary with your ingredients and equipment, so check them and follow normal food-safety practice before serving.
7. Health and allergies
Terroir is a cooking and lifestyle library, not medical advice. Nutrition and calorie figures are estimates that vary with your ingredients and portions. Always check ingredients for allergens, and speak to a doctor or dietitian before changing your diet if you are pregnant, unwell, or managing a medical condition.
8. Shops and third-party links
Shop listings, opening hours and shopping links come from third-party services and may be out of date. We do not sell groceries and are not responsible for anything you buy from a shop we link to.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service running smoothly but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; if a change is significant we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
